Bill Robertson is the main organizer of the «Free Zone». At the
beginning of 1980s he was a staff member of one Scientology organization
in America. Having made very serious misconducts, he was demoted. In
July 1981 the plan of Bill Robertson and his wife Dafna was revealed,
according to which they were going to create their own church and call
it «New Church of Scientology». They intended to take money from the
Church of Scientology — Bill even tried to get monies and hide them in
different accounts. When this plan failed, Bill Robertson robbed a
Scientologist of 50 thousand dollars and fled to Europe. Mister
Robertson is no longer living — on his way to the «higher levels», he
contracted a malignant tumor of the throat and died.
Bernd Lubek is (or already was) the other leader of the «Free Zone»
(his nickname is «Bernd von Wittenberg »). At the beginning of the
1980s, being on staff at the Church of Scientology in Germany, he
inflicted damage to the Church of more than a million German brands. On
this score, there is his own written confession. Lubek promised to
compensate the damage caused to them, but he did not do so — apparently,
he gave this promise in a moment of thievish «weakness». Instead of
compensating the damage, Lubek started to act vigorously within the
framework of the «Free Zone» and to co-operate with people whose purpose
was the destruction of the Church of Scientology. Here we are talking
about Ursula Caberta and her anti-religious groups.
Ursula Caberta is head of a unique governmental department founded in
Hamburg. The declared purpose of this department — to make it so that
anyone professing the Scientology religion in Germany is considered a
criminal. This woman was the fervent supporter of the bill which sought
to take under hard governmental control the whole sphere of helping in
society. This bill covers not only those public associations which
Caberta and those similar to her perceive from their perverted point of
view as sects but also all those groups who help others to cope better
with life. So in order to be in a position to help others, you must get
a license from Mrs. Caberta. And then if suddenly your child was hurt
and was crying, and you decided to calm him, but you had not the license
for helping, you had every chance of being imprisoned, and your child —
in a shelter for orphans.
The «Free Zone» is one of those groups with which Caberta
co-operates. In 1994, during one of his contacts with Caberta, Bernd
Lubek passed papers to her about the «Free Zone» including testimonies
of people attacking the Church. In 1997 an ex Church member asserted
that Lubek had bragged about his connection with Caberta and how he had
helped her. According to Lubek, Caberta considers the «Free Zone» like a
treatment with Methadone for people abandoning the Church. For your
information: treatment with Methadone or «the Methadone program» is the
failed psychiatric method of treating drug addiction, where people were
simply «replanted» from an illegal drug to «legal» one, which is called
Methadone. If you are already a member of the «Free Zone», for this
alone you are already compared with a drug addict.
Through Caberta, Lubek is also connected with Gannett Schweitzer and
Werner Shirra, who owns an association under the name «Free Zone of
Vitem». This organization «helps» Scientologists to leave the Church.
When Schweitzer and Shirra get someone to abandon the Church, they
inform the German Office for the Protection of the Constitution (OPC)
about it — the special force which is the direct descendant of the
fascist Gestapo.
Lubek, Caberta, Schweitzer, Shirra and the German Office for the
Protection of the Constitution (Bundesamt fuer Verfassungsschutz) work
hand in hand in order to destroy Scientology, and it is not a secret.
Their activity is carried out in the following way: Lubek uses the home
page of «Free Zone» on the Internet in order to give people false
information about the Church of Scientology and to move forward the
false technology of Bill Robertson — with the purpose of getting people
to abandon the Church. He helps to inculcate the «Methadone treatment»
of Caberta. Then Schweitzer and Shirra come forward, offering their
services in order to smuggle out people from the Church. When they
succeed in this, they inform employees of the OPC, and those try to
«draw» out from these ex members any tales of offences allegedly
accomplished in the Church. Ideologists and organizers of the «Free
Zone» operate with such methods in Germany.
However, the judicial system of Germany allows honest persons to
defend their rights. At the end of 2001, the Administrative Court of
Berlin pronounced a judgment, obliged authorities of federal state
Berlin in the face of Ministry of internal affairs to keep from
compelling staff or members of the Church of Scientology to become paid
informants. This judgment looks whew (see document 2).

Document 2. The judgment of the Berlin Administrative
Court
[Editing Note: An English
translation of Document 2 will be provided here soon.]
In this connection, it is regrettable that in the territory of the
former Soviet Union the judicial system is not as accomplished as in
Germany.
Now it is time to come back to the unpleasant business at hand. The
psychiatric past and present of Vyacheslav Shapkarin, one of «Free Zone»
leaders in Kiev, has already been disclosed above. In addition, it is
necessary to add that Shapkarin plainly demonstrates thievish intentions
towards Dianetics and Scientology. On the psycho-energotechnologies site
(психоэнерготехнологий), he calls Scientology psychology.
As for why Shapkarin needed to stick Scientology with the label
«psychology», it will be told below.
Another former figure's name of the Ukrainian «Free Zone» is Dmitriy
Ivahnenko. Being Shapkarin’s friend, in the middle of the 1990s this man
had been making pirate translations of Dianetics and Scientology
materials. On his Internet site Ivahnenko declares himself as a
psychologist-consultant, a member of the Kiev Association of Practicing
Psychologists and Psychotherapists, and a member of Ukrainian
Psychologists’ Society.
There on the site under the heading « Free Zone of Dianetics and
Scientology » Ivahnenko declares: «Many Scientologists do not know that
there is the alternative to the Church of Scientology ». Further, he
calls this allegedly existent alternative «Free Zone» (See document 3).

Document 3. The page on D. Ivakhnenko's site where it
says that there is an alternative to Scientology.
To Ivahnenko, these discourses can seem to be innocent and possibly
even believable, but only for those, who do not know that the term «
Scientology » signifies the collective membership of the churches and
missions of Scientology. The situation here is simple: if a man is the
parishioner of the Church of Scientology, he is a Scientologist. If he
is not such, he is not a Scientologist. And what does Ivahnenko try to
convince people of? That, is it possible to be Scientologist practicing
«other Scientology »? This is as if Ivahnenko had bound wooden wheels to
an iron bucket in some shed and tried to sell the product, calling it an
alternative to a «Mercedes-Benz» car. Who would be deceived by this?
Only a person who had never seen a car. And Ivahnenko does not try to
sell the bucket full of holes at the price of new prestige car, only
because such a deception would become obvious at once. Calling
everything that is done with people in the «Free Zone» Scientology
services he, apparently, hopes to be strongly enriched before his
«fraud» stops.
On Ivahnenko’s site, you can see (see Document 3) that Eugenie Volkov,
a known deprogrammer and psychologist from Nizhniy Novgorod is included
in the company of Shapkarin and Ivahnenko.
Deprogramming is an «act of kindness» wherein by somebody's order a
man is caught, taken away to some solitary place, and for a long time he
is subjected to physical and moral pressure, promising, that if a man
gives up his religious or moral persuasions, the tortures will be
halted. This Volkov co-operates with a transatlantic deprogrammer Steven
Hassen. Volkov has even translated the book by Hassen, where he confides
some secrets in the area of manipulations of consciousness.
Hassen is known as extremist in his motherland. The American magazine
«On the Guard of Religious Freedom» published the article in which
proofs of his extremist activity are adduced. Here is what was written:
[Editing Notes: We are working to get the original English copy
of this article, rather than a translation. ]
« Steven Hassen has a quarter age-old experience of violence
application— both straight and by means of support of deprogrammers,
who steal people and by force compel them to go out from their
religions.
A.P. (one of those, who became a prey of Hassen’s deprogramating)
testified under oath in writing form. He described in details cruel,
moral and physical violence that was exposed by Hassen during
deprogramating. A.P. was stolen, brought to some place and held there,
tied-up on hands and feet, without giving to sleep for a long time. He
was not allowed (A.P.) to shave himself and wash; he was deprived of
every personal freedom, even such, as freely to walk in a rest room.
Until A.P. eloped after seven days, Hassen had been subjecting him to
the methods called afterwards by A.P. as washing of brains and
manipulation by consciousness. Hassen even threatened A.P. that he
would enter him the series of pricks, if he did not renounce from the
religious persuasions.
Other victim, S.K., declared under an oath that Hassen and his
assistants had been holding her against will in some room with a door
nonstick, and to be fully assured, she would not escape, a guard had
been sent to her.
In addition, Hassen was involved in the attempts of other man
deprogramating — L.S. Three men burst in the room of hotel, where L.S.
was visiting her sister. She was whipped off the bed, threatening to
interrupt legs in case if she called anybody for help or made an
effort hurry. Then she was jostled in a car and was driven to a
solitary house in New Hampshire, where during 8 days they compelled
her to read materials, which criticized her faith. Kidnappers
constantly mocked and ridiculed L.S. for her persuasions. After nine
days of this prison, when the first command of deprogrammers could not
break L.S’. faith, Hassen was attracted to replace them. After three
days of mockeries from the side of Hassen, L.S,. eventually, was
succeeded to obtain the freedom».
Therefore, a rare scoundrel with the last name of Hassen tells (with
the help of the translator, Mister Volkov) his secrets in the area of
manipulations by somebody else to the Russian readers. And this Volkov
is closely connected with psychiatrists from the institute of Serbskiy
in Moscow — the largest punitive psychiatric organ which in Soviet times
carried out violence against dissidents and other «dissidents». In 1996,
Volkov created the works jointly with Kondratev F.V. Kondratev is an
employee of the Institute of Forensic Psychiatry named after Serbskiy.
Yes, these gentlemen well worked on the field of «spiritual
substitutions». More details about who is this Kondratev and what
«practical science» activity he gets busy with will be told below.
The contacts between all these people are not of casual character.
They represent activity within the framework of a well organized
secret-service network. This is confirmed by the fact that these people
refer to each other. On Ivahnenko’s site, there is reference to the site
of deprogrammer Volkov. We pass to Volkov’s site — and see references to
Ivahnenko! We pass from Volkov’s site to Ivahnenko’s site in the section
« Ivahnenko D. what do you need to know about “washing of brains”» and
what do we see there? Touching care of the author aimed at the reader,
mastering his lesson as to «washing of brains»! And here there is an
already known party of swindlers under the guise of «being indignantly
louder than all with the purpose of distracting suspicion from self»!
And to whom does Ivahnenko refer in this important business of brain
washing? He refers to the psychiatrist, professor Kondratev who is the
colleague, deprogrammer Volkov!

Document 4. Article by Ivahnenko referencing to
psychiatrist Kondratev
Here things are discussed as «the opinion of psychiatrist - professor
Kondratev». This gibberish looks very impressive: many pseudo-scientific
terms, wide generalizations, fog. Right here Ivahnenko should tell the
truth about who this professor Kondratev is and what he is famous for.
However, Ivahnenko keeps silent about this, and hardly because he does
not know the truth.
Professor Kondratev is the representative of the «old guard» of
soviet psychiatry. About this the famous historian-archivist A.S.
Prokopenko knows a great deal. He headed the Special Archive for some
time and saw proofs of soviet repressions.
The Special Archive is the especially secret archive, organized in
1945 by Stalin to collect all information about the enemies of the USSR.
It should noted that the Communist Party considered every man whose
thoughts differed from the «correct form» to be the enemy of the state,
therefore it is possible to imagine how much information flowed into
this archive. In the documentary book «Reckless Psychiatry», published
in 1997, Prokopenko mentions «authority» F. Kondratev:
« F. Kondratev is a reliable scientist who saw all this from
within. In 1980 he was none other than the curator of PPH in Kazan,
and experimented on a dissident to see how much a person can resist
before breaking psychologically, what is his strength of spirit. The
worker was A. Kuznetsov, whose ordeals in the circles of psychiatric
hell lasted from 1981 to 1988.
Naturally, no strangers were allowed to enter the prison hospitals
of MIA. Kondratev, who visited Kazan many times, prefers not to tell
about what he saw».
And if someone does not know what «Kazan PPH» means and what sort of
person is needed to become the «curator of Kazan PPH», then the next
secret document from the Special Archive explains everything very well
(see document 5.).

Document 5. Government Regulations concerning
the Kazan Prison Psychiatric Hospital THE NKVD OF THE USSR
[Editing Note: An English
translation of Document 5 will be provided here soon.]
Mentioned in the document above, The Folk Commissariat of Internal
Affairs (FCIA) is the organizational form of the soviet special forces,
which existed from the beginning of the 1920s until the middle of the
1940s. The primary purpose of FCIA activity was to produce physical
violence against people disagreeable to the government. During that
period, while the soviet special services carried the name «FCIA»,
they blotted out ten million people, mainly citizens of the Soviet
Union.
Here is whom the psychiatrist Kondratev had been working for until he
became an «expert» on «totalitarian sects». In the mouth of this man,
words about brain washing can be true only in the form of his frank
confession during an interrogation into criminal charges made against
him!
However, instead of repentance, Kondratev talks about the danger
threatening people from some unknown wicked forces. This is almost as if
Adolph Hitler had issued a book «How Jewries Can Be Protected from
Carnage», or if Osama bin Laden endowed humanity with the opus «Rescue
of the World from Terrorism».
The term «totalitarian sects» is a psychiatric label, applied to
those religious public associations with which the executioners of
Soviet temperament want to kill off the associations by «legal» methods.
It should be remarked that fascists first invented this term and with
the help of it they fell out with “disagreeable people.” Only now, when
the Constitution of Russia guarantees to citizens freedom of religious
and social association, psychiatrists wage an undeclared war not only
with individuals but also with whole groups, fixing their ridiculous
labels on completely religious and public movements. By the way, if
psychiatrists were honest and they understood the true meaning of the
words «totalitarian sect», they would have admitted that psychiatry is
the most «successful» totalitarian sect ever as well as the totalitarian
fascist regime which created this term.. While cloaking itself with the
status of a medical science, psychiatry frenziedly believes in the
incurability of mental diseases, rushes around this «symbol of faith»
with pseudo-scientific invocations while daily giving to society ten,
hundreds of corpses. These people were members of this society before
going to the lunatic house! Thousands and thousands of people, perishing
annually in psychiatric establishments — here is a direct proof of the
totalitarianism and criminality of this practice.
